Insulation Perth

Most of our insulation work is grant funded through Home Energy Scotland, subject to an eligibility check, so the out-of-pocket cost is often a fraction of the full price. Every job we complete carries the Qualitymark guarantee.
Our direct-fix batten system for older solid-wall homes. The highest-value insulation measure, with an HES grant of up to £7,500 available (verified 4 August 2026), subject to eligibility.
Insulated boards fitted for converted lofts and sloped ceilings. HES grant support of up to £3,000 available (verified 4 August 2026), subject to eligibility.
Standard loft insulation for accessible loft spaces, often the quickest and simplest upgrade. HES grant support of up to £1,500 available (verified 4 August 2026), subject to eligibility.
Fitted under suspended timber floors to cut heat loss in older properties. HES grant support of up to £1,500 available (verified 4 August 2026), subject to eligibility.
Around 80-90% of our insulation work is grant funded through Home Energy Scotland, subject to an eligibility check. For most homeowners, that means the out-of-pocket cost is a fraction of the full price.
HES grants range from £1,500 for loft and underfloor insulation up to £7,500 for internal wall insulation (verified 4 August 2026), with interest-free loans available alongside and a further £1,500 rural uplift where applicable. Funding is based on your property’s current EPC, not your income or benefits.
You manage the HES application yourself and we’ll help you through it. For other funding routes, we manage the whole application for you, start to finish.

We cover four types of insulation. Internal wall insulation uses a direct-fix batten system for solid-wall homes. Room-in-roof insulation uses insulated boards for converted lofts and sloped ceilings. Loft insulation covers accessible loft spaces. Underfloor insulation goes in under suspended timber floors.
We know Perth’s housing stock well because we work in it every week. Oakbank’s late 70s and early 80s builds, Craigie’s older stone-built semis, and Perth City Centre’s rented flats are the properties that tend to benefit most, and we see all three regularly.
The process is straightforward: a survey, a check of your EPC, support with the HES application if you’re eligible, then the installation itself. Every job finishes with a Qualitymark guarantee.

Yes, in most cases. HES grants range from £1,500 to £7,500 depending on the type of insulation (verified 4 August 2026), subject to an eligibility check. It’s based on your property, not means-tested, and while you manage the application yourself, we’ll support you through it. See our Home Energy Grants page for the full figures.
Internal wall, room-in-roof, loft and underfloor insulation. Each type suits different properties, so have a look at the options above for the detail on which one fits your home.
Your EPC is the best starting point. If it recommends insulation, that’s a strong signal. Older properties are usually the main candidates, particularly solid-wall homes without cavity insulation, uninsulated lofts, and suspended timber floors. In Perth that often means Oakbank’s 70s and 80s stock or Craigie’s older stone-built homes.
Yes. All our insulation work carries our Qualitymark guarantee in full: a 25-year system guarantee and a 2-year workmanship guarantee, both insurance-backed.
It depends on the type and the size of your property. Internal wall insulation is usually the most involved and can take several days. Loft insulation can often be done in a day or less. We’ll give you a clear timeline with your quote after the survey.
Generally, no. Internal wall insulation is done room by room, so the rest of your home stays usable, and loft and underfloor insulation don’t disrupt your living space at all.
Yes, across Perth and Perthshire. Oakbank, Craigie and Perth City Centre are our three top areas for insulation work, and we also cover the wider Perthshire settlements. If you’re not sure your area’s covered, just ask.
